Join Us! – St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Fish Pier Parking Lot 320 Commercial St, Portland, Maine

Join fellow MSEA members on Sunday, March 16, as we march in the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade starting at 12pm in Portland. The parade is sponsored by the Irish American Club of Maine.
We’ll meet up at 11:15am at the Fish Pier Parking Lot, 320 Commercial St., Portland (the corner of Center and Commercial streets), and at 12pm march through Commercial Street in Portland to Bellbuoy Park, just shy of the Casco Bay Ferry Terminal building.
This year’s Grand Marshall is Mary McAleney, the former executive director of the Maine Irish Heritage Center. We’ll be marching with other unionists, multiple marching groups, including the Irish American Club’s Parade of Flags, two pipe and drum bands, the Stillson School of Irish Dance team, representatives from the U.S. Navy crew aboard the USS Gallagher, and local police and fire departments.
Please spread the word about joining us March 16 in Portland. We look forward to seeing you there!
In Solidarity,
James McClay, President, Cumberland Chapter, who will be marching once again as Saint Patrick,
and Mark Brunton, MSEA-SEIU President
