Invited guests are MSEA President Mark Brunton, Retiree Board Representative Robyn Egan, and Health Commission Representative Lois Baxter. Guests will give Officer reports, Legislative updates, and we will discuss officer recruitment and get member feedback.

An Area 3 Alternate Board of Directors seat has become vacant.
An Area 3 special caucus will be held at 6pm Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the Maine Turnpike Authority HQ , 2360 Congress St., Portland, and via Zoom to accept nominations and hold an election for the vacant Alternate Director position.
In order to run, you must be nominated. Every member, in good standing, has a right to nominate candidates, including themselves. If nominated by someone other than yourself, that person must be from your respective Area. A candidate is ineligible to fill a current or future vacancy as a Director or Alternate Director if another member of the same chapter/local has been elected, by a Caucus from the same area, to serve as a Director during the same period of time. Currently, Area 3’s representatives on the Board of Directors are from the Marine Resources, Maine Turnpike Authority, Judicial and Cumberland chapters. Members of those chapters are therefore not eligible for nomination at this time. If you would like to nominate yourself or another member, please email your nomination to mark.brunton@mseaseiu.org. Nominations will be taken at the caucus as well.
The caucus agenda will include a brief Board of Directors update.
The election will be held via secret ballot. Only chapter presidents and delegates in attendance at the Maine Turnpike Authority HQ Conference Rooms E&F will be permitted to vote.
