The MSEA-SEIU Local 1989 Solidarity Committee is calling on members to show up and stand in solidarity with the nurses at Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC)!
CMMC's for-profit owner, Prime, is waging a vicious union-busting campaign and illegally fired or suspended 20 nurses in retaliation for exercising their right to unionize. CMMC nurses are organizing for a stronger voice in their workplace and are raising concerns about staffing, resources, retention and their ability to advocate for their patients.
